ticket prices online sales are now available and will also be available on the gates. prices are per adult with children under 16 accompanied by an adult getting free entry (wristbands for under 16s will be supplied by our gate staff)! so there is only one place to be on sunday 15th july, volks weald, the greatest show on turf! see you there! live music we have some amazing bands and musicians lined up to keep you entertained over the weekend including friday night headliners, hyperactive. it’s not just the songs, it’s the true 80’s sound. friday night is party night and your weekend starts here! saturday night, the roof is coming off the main marquee with headliners, walkway. this awesome band have played with some of the greats including status quo, the darkness, black stone cherry, slade and more. walkway’s distinct vocals, jaw dropping solos and solid rhythm section have created a huge buzz and gained the band the reputation as one of the uk’s best unsigned rock bands. volks weald is all about the chilled laid back atmosphere and this was created this year by having some amazing up and coming artists play and 2018 is no different. we have some super talented artists lined up to play over the weekend including josh gleaves who recently won the prestigious gigs award, the capitals best busker. so we are very lucky to have josh playing for all you lovely people. your going to love him! another of the many young talented artist we are over the moon to have playing at the show is fred clark. if you have never seen fred play, your in for a treat! fred is an exciting acoustic singer/songwriter from maidstone, kent who performs with incredible energy and writes with an upbeat, vibrant style. he really is a class act. beginning life as a vintage girl group, hotsy totsy, with harmonies akin to the andrews sisters and the chordettes, they began to branch out and labelled themselves as a “retro to contemporary girl group”. over more recent years they have played in larger venues and to larger crowds and with the audience their style shifted once again, now they bring the best of music from 1930s to the present day. their set lists are full of all the most popular hits from the last seventy years and wonderful three part harmony, sometimes where you wouldn’t expect it!! so get your dancing shoes on. it’s going to be awesome. the whole weekend is full of amazing musical talent. other artists include, ben mcilwraith bodhi music more than echoes jessrain lucy forder lizzie arkell a full timetable of the acts will be announced nearer the show. if you love your music as much as you love your vw’s, there is only one place to be over the weekend of july 13th 2018! see you there… bike battle new for 2018, we are excited to have bike battle at volks weald, an extreme bmx show in the main arena. two shows on the saturday featuring lee musselwhite, 2 x champion and guinness world record holder, pushing the boundaries, inventing the moves, performing at the highest level – bmx legend, on the saturday of a packed 3 days! volks weald swap shop we want to try something new in 2018. with auto jumblers thinning out due to sites like ebay, we want to try and recreate some of that old magic of the peppercorn vibe. so between 11.00am – 3.00pm on saturday 14th we need your help! in the centre of the showground, slap bang in the middle of all the entertainment and displays we are going to run the volks weald ‘swap shop’ – sell or swap all tho se odd parts or bits that are gathering dust in the back of your garage. drive up, lay out a blanket or paste table for a few hours and have some fun and make a few quid. it is purely parts only, no traders, no cushions or cuddly toys, just car and van bits. we will keep it to 4 hours only so you won’t miss any of the show in fact you will be a big part of it. best part, it’s free and is part of your ticket entry price. let’s make it happen.. trade stalls the trade village this year was amazing ( so say our visitors ) with over 50 trade stalls selling all sorts of goods. it had a real artisan feel about it and 2018 is shaping up to be even bigger & better with many traders already booked in after their successful trading in 2017. so if your a visitor start saving up your pennies and if your a trader looking to book in for the greatest show on turf, head on over to our trade page and get booked in to avoid missing out on a pitch. dog show bring your four legged friend to volks weald and enter them in to their own show on the sunday. pennards vets very kindly organised the dog show in 2017 with a great turn out of over 80 dogs!
